About Us
Mensch Kitchen and Catering has been in the Cowichan Valley for over a decade, serving at events with our food truck and putting on weddings and galas and other events as well. It is our mission to bring people closer to their food sources through the food that they eat.
During these unprecedented times, we want to make sure that we were able to provide a service that can help as many people as possible. With our frozen meals, you are able to self isolate while still staying nurtured. Let us take a little off your plate so you can concentrate on the important things in life.
All of our frozen meals are made using Cowichan Valley ingredients and designed to reheat perfectly. By partnering with Cow-Op we hope these meals can get into the hands of more people that need them!

We have the privilege of working with amazing local products. We allow these ingredients to shine through, using complimentary techniques and flavours. The food we create is unique and ever changing, together with the seasons of the West Coast.
In the time our Chef has spent working on farms and ranches throughout BC, agriculture has developed into a second passion. The experience of seeing first hand what it takes to grow something as simple as a carrot has instilled a sense of respect and admiration for the work it takes to produce the ingredients used in our recipes.
The Cowichan Valley’s unique community of farmers, producers, and artists continues to grow. We are inspired by these surroundings and will be a positive presence wherever we unhitch
